Since 2002, Telinta has custom developed Auto-Provisioning profiles to streamline the provisioning of IP phones.  These profiles enable Telinta customers to easily provision any number of new IP devices or modify configurations on devices already in service, without the need for manual configuration.

Making these profiles easier to use with IP phones which have not yet been populated with a provisioning string, Telinta has introduced its new Auto-Provisioning Helper Tool to simplify provisioning of IP phones.  This brandable white label tool is completely web-based and includes features such as click-by-click instructions for all major device models, one-click automatic provisioning for Cisco devices, and other features which can be used by Telinta customers, their resellers or end users.  Telinta’s Auto-Provisioning capability is a standard part of its TeliCoreTM softswitch platform.

Telinta customers can easily create their inventory of IP phones using TeliCore’s web-based interface.  When the phones are connected to an IP network at the customer premise, they will automatically download a complete configuration profile from Telinta’s softswitch platform.  Telinta customers can also activate new features on IP phones, perform remote reboots, update IP phone software, assign phone numbers and lines to specific ports, and other capabilities, all without manual configurations.

This Auto-Provisioning capability is unique as it enables Telinta customers to provision IP phones using the same cloud-based platform they use to perform other key business processes such as routing calls, rating, billing and customer management.
