- Telecom service providers can now provide an integrated offer combining highly profitable global mobile roaming with a brandable mobile softphone application.
- Seamless white label mobile solution is attractive to both business and consumer end users seeking cost-effective mobile calling while traveling.
Telinta, a global leader in cloud-based VoIP switching and billing, today announced that telecom service providers can offer a unique combination of mobile solutions to meet the needs of international travelers.
Telinta’s innovative TeliSIM MVNO solution has been integrated with Telinta’s TeliGlobe mobile softphone solution, providing end users with a seamless mobile service to use while traveling.
Telinta’s cloud-based softswitch platform automatically detects when the TeliGlobe softphone application has been opened and is ready for calling via a Wi-Fi data connection. Inbound calls will be routed to the softphone application using cost-effective mobile VoIP. When the softphone application is closed or not connected to Wi-Fi, inbound calls will be sent to the TeliSIM SIM card via the GSM network. With Telinta’s flexible billing, service providers can offer these solutions both separately or bundled into a single convenient calling plan on either a prepaid or postpaid basis. Users can replenish their balances and make payments both directly from the phone using any currency they need, or online using brandable self-service web portals available via Telinta’s hosted platform. Both TeliGlobe and TeliSIM can share the same phone number for inbound calls, and the same caller ID for outbound calls.
This powerful combination of TeliSIM and TeliGlobe is attractive to both businesses and consumers seeking cost effective VoIP services while traveling. Telecom service providers can easily offer TeliGlobe to business customers as a mobile extension for Hosted PBX services. With this integration, in addition to TeliGlobe, offering a mobile extension can also include TeliSIM’s mobile roaming capabilities while traveling internationally, extending the mobile extension capability to virtually anywhere in the world a GSM signal is available. This integrated solution can also be combined with residential VoIP services, enabling customers to make or receive calls while traveling using the same phone and caller ID they use at home. Local phone numbers can be added to both TeliSIM and TeliGlobe via the customer’s own DID provider for countries around the world.
“Telinta offers a full portfolio of cloud-based white label VoIP solutions, enabling telecom service providers to better meet the needs of their customers and resellers,” explained Alex Ferdman, CEO of Telinta. “Using the power of our cloud-based platform, Telinta customers can offer services that greatly surpass those of competitors who merely provide a single stand-alone service.”
TeliSIM is a highly-profitable award-winning MVNO solution using an entirely new methodology that brings GSM technology into Telinta’s cloud-based softswitch platform. TeliSIM enables cost-effective VoIP termination to replace more expensive mobile termination from GSM operators, significantly cutting the costs of Global Roaming. TeliSIM includes low cost roaming agreements with over 600 mobile operators around the world, with no roaming fees charged by mobile operators in over 150 countries. TeliSIM includes one free phone number for the USA and another free phone number for the United Kingdom; additional phone numbers can be added.
TeliGlobe is a brandable, customizable mobile softphone application, available for both iOS and Android devices. The application can be downloaded for free by end users from both the Apple App Store and Google Play. TeliGlobe offers easy, automatic configuration via user login or QR code. TeliGlobe’s unique power-saving design meets the needs of travelers on the go, maximizing battery life by using push notifications. The application includes a balance display for prepaid use, as well as a full range of calling features.
Both TeliSIM and TeliGlobe are part of a full portfolio of cloud-based VoIP solutions available from Telinta. TeliCoreTM is Telinta’s carrier-grade Class 4 and Class 5 softswitch platform, integrating Telinta’s cutting-edge VoIP solutions with world-class switching and billing capabilities.
