Our Desktop Softphone application is an impressive SIP softphone solution for VoIP service providers. This brandable application can easily be downloaded by your users to their computers for both inbound and outbound calls via their broadband internet connection. An icon is placed on their desktop, and when clicked it opens an attractive softphone application, brandable and customizable for you and your resellers. You can offer this convenient softphone app as part of a stand-alone VoIP service, or bundled together with your other VoIP services, or fully integrated offer for Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS), both prepaid and postpaid. No browsers are required. All your user needs is a broadband internet connection, speakers or headset, and a microphone.

Does Telinta charge extra to use the Desktop Softphone App?
No. Telinta’s Desktop Softphone App is a standard part of our TeliCore platform and available to all Telinta customers at no additional charge. Minutes of use generated by the Softphone are treated the same as any other minutes when calculating your Telinta monthly usage charges.
A brandable version, with expanded capabilities, is available for an additional monthly fee.
Will the Softphone App work for Mac users?
Yes. Telinta’s Desktop Softphone is for Mac, Windows, and Linux. The solution is designed for desktop and laptop computers which can access a broadband internet connection, microphone, speakers or headset.
Does this solution require any specific browser?
No. This solution is designed for desktop and laptop computers. Telinta offers a separate Mobile Softphone solution for Android and Apple iOS mobile devices.
Can I customize the Desktop Softphone App?
Yes. Telinta’s Desktop Softphone app can include your brand name, logo, URL, and text fields which you can customize. You can easily link to self-care portals or other online tools provided to you by Telinta, which can include your logo and brand.
How does the prepaid balance indicator work?
Telinta provides you with the option to add a prepaid balance indicator which is updated in real time to display your user’s balance. Our real-time billing capabilities will instantly reflect payments made, making your user’s credits immediately available for calling. As credits are used during a call, the remaining balance will be updated in real-time.
Does Telinta provide DIDs or VoIP Termination?
No. Telinta does not provide DIDs or VoIP Termination. Instead we enable our customers to use any provider they need. Telinta has partnered with several leading DID providers and VoIP Termination carriers so that Telinta customers will receive special pricing, however customers are not obligated to use our partners.
